A PALM BEACH FOUR-GALLERY EVENT

Spin a Tale of Love

Four Palm Beach County galleries are collaborating to bring an exciting and unique exhibit to the greater Palm Beach area. Spin a Tale of Love is an all media call to artists for an exhibition scheduled to open Valentine’s week.

This is a national and international call to enter. Each participating artist will receive a pair of antique wooden spindles originally used for yarn or thread. Entrants must transform these spindles into their interpretation of a pair of lovers, whether real or fictional (Romeo and Juliet, Mickey and Minnie, Lucy and Desi…you get the idea!)

All art mediums accepted. Originality is key. Works submitted may be mounted on spindles. The spindles may be altered or used in a unique fashion.

Spindles are approximately (10”) in height. Total work must conform to a size of no more than 18” in height with a base no more than 8" X 8” square. Works received that do no meet size specification will not be exhibited. It is our goal to get entries from both national and international artists. Pricing is at artist’s discretion. There is a 50% gallery commission. Entries will be exhibited throughout the four galleries.
